Remember playing in the sandbox a kid and thinking about what you'd get to if you just kept digging? China? The Earth's core?

Thanks to this antipodes map, you can grab a virtual shovel to start digging from anywhere in the world, and see where you'd pop out on the other side. The antipodes of any place on the Earth is the point on the Earth's surface which is diametrically opposite to it, and by plugging in a location, the map works to find the points that are antipodal to each other. They are essentially connected by a straight line that runs through the center of the Earth.

As it turns out, if you dug a hole straight down from Fort Collins (or anywhere else nearby), you'd probably want a flotation device, as you'd actually end up smack dab in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
