What would life be like without a little bit of fun? (Hint: it'd be borrrrrrrring).

When deciding on a place to live - whether it be in an area you've lived before or one you know nothing about - there are multiple factors that people typically consider before choosing a place to move, such as:

  • cost of living
  • level of safety
  • weather
  • overall accessibility to other areas
  • entertainment options

Speaking of entertainment options, there's nothing better than moving to a place that offers up a variety of ways residents can actively and happily engage in the community they're living in.

The Most Fun States In America

Personal finance website, WalletHub recently released a new rankings list of the most fun states in America.

About the Study

According to Wallethub, all 50 states in the U.S. were compared across two key categories, “Entertainment & Recreation” and “Nightlife.”

Both categories were then broken down to measure 26 relevant metrics - all of which were assigned corresponding weights, with each metric being graded on a 100-point scale.

In this study, a score of 100 indicates the greatest number and variety of fun and cost-effective options in any given state.

As per the informational breakdown of this study, the "Entertainment & Recreation" category and its subcategories accounted for 80 of the 100 possible points that could be earned during this study, while the "Nightlife" category and its subcategories accounted for 20 of those points.

So, where does Colorado fall in this study?
