I cut the cord a while ago. I love me some Netflix. That's why I am always thankful for websites like Entertainment Weekly, because towards the middle/end of every month they post the release dates of everything coming to Netflix for the next month.

October is going to be a great month to spend some quality time on the couch watching some great new programming and some old time favorites. I am most looking forward to the return of Eddie Murphy, who stars in "Dolemite Is My Name". It's the true story of actor, comedian, performer Rudy Ray Moore, and his creation of the character Dolemite. There is a lot of buzz around Eddie Murphy's performance and quite a bit of Oscar buzz as well.

Tied with "Dolemite Is My Name" at the top of the I can not wait list, is El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. Not much more I can say about that. Breaking Bad is one of the greatest TV shows ever made and now they made a follow up movie.

Will Smith is also coming to Netflix in October with one of his best performances ever. "The Pursuit Of Happyness". Another autobiographical film. A true story of perseverance. The heart wrenching scene of him holding the door closed in the subway bathroom holding his son because they are homeless. Grab the kleenex.

Also on the way are some classics, including Karate Kid, Raging Bull, and Men In Black. If you want to see the full list of October Netflix releases check it out here. Time to go buy some extra popcorn.
