Which, is fair: Get it done for cheaper, and less time-consuming, before it becomes a bigger "process."
How Many More People in Weld County Applied for a Permit in 2025 Opposed to 2024?
While CBS Denver doesn't list the actual amount of persons looking to beat the July 1 deadline, they do have percentage numbers:
- From June 2024 to June 2025 - Weld County - a 324% increase.
- From June 2024 to June 2025 - Larimer County - a 137% increase.
The 2025-2026 numbers will most-likely show a significant decrease in the amount of people seeking a conceal carry permits, if only because the "beat the deadline" numbers were so high.
