My lab is an amazing gift of a dog. We rescued her from the Larimer Humane Society. She was a surrender with very little information about her past life. To the best of our knowledge, she is a mid to late-aged purebred American Labrador Retriever. She's smart, kind and playful. That's all great, except when she drops her toy, or ball, or stick right in the path of the lawnmower to get us to move it, which to her, translates to playing with her.

I actually have to come up with creative paths of mowing to confuse her. Because she will drop it right in the front of the mower. She is smart, which can be annoying.
