U.S. Pro team members Deven and Kiernan Fagan, of Frisco, have been suspended indefinitely for using racial slurs, which violates the U.S. Ski & Snowboard's Athletic Agreement and Code of Conduct.

9 News has the story on the 18-year old twins and pro skiers, who recently apologized in an Instagram video.

The clip of the athletes' statements was posted a year ago. These guys are really young and, and were even more so when the video was originally released. So, on some level, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, as I'm sure they now realize how insensitive their comments were. However, their apology video seems clearly scripted to me, which feels super awkward and less-than-sincere. Or is that just me?

In a statement, U.S. Ski & Snowboard said the twins’ return to sanctioned activities is “reliant upon completing diversity and sensitivity education," as reported by 9 News.
