The fast food hamburger, there certainly are a lot of choices. The history of the fast food hamburger goes back to a White Castle in Wichita, Kansas circa 1921 selling them for 5 cents.
When it comes to sales McDonald's is the number one fast-food burger chain. Even at number one, they are always looking to improve. They say they listen to their fans.
McDonald's has announced that they are rolling out some changes to their hamburgers. Small changes, but they are hoping they make a tastier burger. McDonald's in Denver and Colorado Springs will be some of the first locations to serve up the new improved burgers. By early 2024 the improvements should be in all stores nationwide.
The official press release says McDonald's hamburgers will have:
  • Softer, pillowy buns that are freshly toasted to a golden brown
  • Perfectly melted cheese that will make you want to savor every last bit off the wrapper
  • Juicier, caramelized flavor from adding white onions to the patties while they’re still on the grill
  • Even more of everyone’s favorite Big Mac sauce, bringing more tangy sweetness in every Big Mac bite
Remember the Hamburgler? Oh, that mischief-maker is gonna be helping to promote the upgrades at McDonald's. I'm super glad it's not the creepy clown Ronald McDonald making a comeback. Check out the revised Hamburgler in this ad. Man, things have changed.
