New Vintage Vinyl, Books & More Shop Opens In Longmont
Those living in Colorado who were longing for "the good old days" found a new shop to check out in Longmont in the summer of 2025.
Former Thrift Shop in Longmont Becomes Vintage Shop
233 Main Street in Longmont, just off of Downtown, has been more than a few things in its time; before Vintology opened it was a thrift store. Which, when you think about it, isn't much different from being a vintage shop.
Play your cards right, you can sell some of your old/vintage records, videos, etc., and walk over to Wibby Brewing with your cash.

Considering that I work at radio station, it's not too surprising that my ears would perk up a the sound of a new vinyl shop opening in the Northern Colorado area in the summer of 2025. When it opened, and I heard that it dealt with not only vintage vinyls, but vintage books and other things, I had to check it out.

Vintology does have a good spot along Main, near popular eateries like Urban Field Pizza & Market and Santiago's, but also very close to the great Wibby Brewing. It makes for having a fun day out: Some food, some beers, some vintage browsing.
This Veterans-owned vintage shop is into many things vintage: vinyl records, books, old ephemera (prints, posters, post cards, photos, signs, etc.) home audio electronics (which they also repair,) and other miscellaneous vintage pop culture items.
It's a big space, with shelve and shelves of books, bins and bins of records, odd boxes full of paper art and 45s, and big tables to sit and read/study at. They even put in a "garage door" and outdoor patio seating. Maybe they'll be bringing in live music?
Free Items Also Available at Longmont Vintology Shop
When I stopped in, inquiring about how much one album was (as they hadn't completed pricing everything) one the of owners gave the album a good looking over and decided that it should be probably be on the "Donation/Free Wall outside," and said I could just take it.
