VIDEO: Police Searching For Colorado Robbers Dressed in Wigs

Update: Police have apprehended the male suspect, but are still searching for his female partner.

A couple in Colorado was chased by a pair of robbers and the whole ordeal was caught on camera.

According to a report from the Wheat Ridge Police Department, authorities are hoping that the public can help identify two robbery suspects who attempted to disguise themselves in wigs.

Wheat Ridge Robbery Happened in Broad Daylight

Some people believe that robberies only happen under the cover of night in small alleyways, but criminals are becoming bolder than ever before. A couple in Wheat Ridge was chased by a pair of people attempting to rob them and only escaped by running into the safety of their home.

As seen in the video above, one of the suspects was brandishing a gun and was using it to intimidate the victims. Fortunately, no one was hurt during this robbery attempt. The suspects can be seen wearing blonde wigs, and the man even appears to have an ankle monitor.

You can also hear the man's accomplice laughing as she watches their victims run away in terror.

Same Suspects Robbed Someone Else Minutes Later

Wheat Ridge Police believe that these same suspects are responsible for another robbery that took place about a half mile away, just minutes later.

The victim was a man who was loading up his vehicle. The suspects once again displayed the gun in order to rob the man.

The pair were seen escaping in a silver SUV, possibly a Kia Sportage.

Wheat Ridge Police Looking for Tips

Authorities are asking the public to take a close look at the video to see if they can identify the suspects. While the criminal duo is dressed in disguises, their faces are still visible.
