A museum that most Coloradans probably haven't even heard of will be shutting its doors; while the cars aren't for sale, the museum's interesting building is.

Where is Vehicle Vault in Colorado?

Vehicle Vault has been open since 2014 south of E-470 along Highway 83 in Parker, Colorado. I know that I, myself, had never heard of the museum until I found out that its building was for sale as of September of 2025.

The cars may be going away, but the building will remain. Who will take it over, and what will they do with it?

Before Vehicle Vault there was nothing but an open field at 18301 Lincoln Meadows Parkway in Parker.

It's amazing that all the cars that reside within the Vehicle Vault Museum & Event Center were curated by just one family. The cars inside must be worth tens of millions; it's a testament to their generosity to not just hide the cars away, but to showcase them in a museum and events space.

The building that houses Vehicle Vault (which also has luxury garages that can be leased out,) I believe is very interesting. Vehicle Vault created the building from the ground up, with a great vision in mind.

From the listing:

The property features large open-span interior spaces that are ideal for showroom displays, event hosting, flex industrial operations, or creative adaptive reuse such as a religious facility, an educational campus, automotive sales/service, entertainment and more.

I'm very interested to see what becomes of this cool building, after whomever pays the whopping [asking price] $9,700,000.
