Vegans Rejoice! ‘Native Foods’ is Coming to Fort Collins
Plant-based provolone. Plant-based chicken. Plant-based breakfast sausage. Soon Fort Collins will get to see how these items come together at a new vegan fast-casual restaurant.
Native Foods is coming to Fort Collins. Construction is underway with plans of completion by the winter of 2023. The Native Foods website lists the address for the Fort Collins location as 3300 South College Avenue, which places it near Crumbl Cookies and Dick's Sporting Goods at the Foothills mall.
Northern Colorado will now get access to Native Foods handheld and burger combos, entrees, soups, salads, and desserts. All of it is plant-based.
This will only be the fourth location in Colorado. Their locations in Denver, Boulder and Lone Tree are very popular with great online reviews.
Native Foods "was founded on the premise that tasty meals and natural plant-based ingredients should go hand-in-hand and that environmental sustainability and animal welfare need to be an important element of our mission."
Something to watch for is the Chef's Specials which are usually comfort food inspired. Last year one of these specials included something called "Glazed and Confused". It was a glazed donut bun with plant-based fried chicken topped with maple and candied jalapenos. Yeah, that got my attention.
The full menu is available here. Check out the oatmeal cream pie under desserts, yum.
The dining rooms in Native Foods are light and bright with lots of natural elements. The Fort Collins location will be able to hold 60 guests indoors and will feature a patio that will have seating for 24.
