Vandals Are Cutting Down Swings in Colorado Parks
A new kind of 'jerkery'. No that's not a word but it seems fitting.
Swings have been cut down since playgrounds reopened on June 5, as reported by Out There Colorado.
The vandalism has occurred in Otis, Bonforte, Boulder, Lunar, Roy Benavidez and Shooks Run parks, according to the Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services.
In a recent Facebook post, the department stated that they can no longer continue to repair these swings because of the associated costs and frequency of the vandalism.
Anyone with information about the vandalism can report it to the Colorado Springs Police Department non-emergency line at 719-444-7000.
