Valentine's Day in Loveland, Colorado, is when "The Sweetheart City" really shines. With the annual Valentine Re-mailing Program, the Sweetheart Festival, the race, a concert, and more, everyone who loves "love" will be in town.

This year, the 6th annual Sweetheart Festival will be returning to Fourth Street in downtown, which is always a great spot for these kinds of events, but events surrounding Valentine's Day in Loveland won't be confined to Fourth Street.

LOVELAND'S VALENTINE RE-MAILING PROGRAM INFO FOR 2024

2024 marks the 78th year of people from all over the world sending their valentines to Loveland to be hand-stamped with the yearly cachet and cancellation. Volunteers stamp more than 100,000 valentines every year.

LOVELAND VALENTINE REMAILING DATES:

• If you're valentine is going out of the country, it needs to get to the Loveland post office by FEBRUARY 1, 2024.
• If you're valentine is going to a state outside of Colorado, it needs to get to the Loveland post office by FEBRUARY 5, 2024.
• If you're Valentine is going to a location in Colorado, it needs to get to the Loveland post office by FEBRUARY 7, 2024.

HOW DO YOU REMAIL YOUR VALENTINE THROUGH LOVELAND, COLORADO?

You need to put your addressed and postage-stamped Valentine card into a larger First Class envelope and then mail it to Postmaster - Attention Valentines, 446 E. 29th St., Loveland, CO 80538-9998.

LOVELAND'S OFFICIAL VALENTINE CARD AND VERSE FOR 2024

Loveland's annual Valentine's Day card is a great way to send love to someone. They are $5 if you buy them at various retailers in Loveland, including Sweet B Cupcakes; or you can order them online (those cards will get stamped and remailed) for $10 at loveland.org.

LOVELAND'S ANNUAL GROUP WEDDING ON VALENTINE'S DAY

Hundreds of couples will gather at Blue Arena on Valentine's Day before the Colorado Eagles hockey game to get married or renew their vows.

The cost is $160 per couple and comes with many extras (including one of Loveland's Love Locks) and a shot at a huge gift basket -  sign up HERE.

6TH ANNUAL SWEETHEART FESTIVAL RETURNS TO FOURTH STREET LOVELAND

The 2024 Sweetheart Festival will take place from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, along Fourth Street in downtown. The event will feature live ice carvings, music and dance performances, food trucks, the "Palace of Sweets," a kids zone, the annual Little Miss Valentine and Little Mr. Cupid contest, and a concert at the historic Rialto Theater with Spinphony.

"LOVELAND LIGHTS AT CHAPUNGU" AND SOMETHING NEW

From Feb. 1 through Feb. 18, Chapungu Sculpture Park will be decorated with red and pink lights for Valentine's Day. Each night from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., there will also be a 30-minute light show that runs, featuring love songs.

A new event for Valentine's Day in Loveland will happen on Feb. 17, 2024, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a special "Date Night" experience at Chapungu. There'll be wine and beer tastings along with dueling pianos to entertain lovers that night.

SWEETHEART CLASSIC (RACE) IN LOVELAND 2024

On Valentine's Day, as part of the Sweetheart Festival, Sweetheart City Racing in Loveland will hold its annual 4-mile run from 2:30 to  3:30 p.m.

WHO IS LOVELAND'S "MISS VALENTINE" FOR 2024?

McKayley Lane is Loveland's 62nd Miss Valentine. McKayley's schedule of events includes the Valentine's Press Conference, the First Stamping of Loveland Valentines, the yearly Sweetheart Festival, a State Capitol visit, and the Loveland Corn Roast Parade.
