Plane Diverts To Grand Junction After Man With Skateboard Gets Violent
Remember the old images of what it used to be like to fly back in the day? Everyone dressed up like it was a formal event, there was full blown meals and luxury in the sky as you jet set from Point A to Point B.

I'm too young to remember those days, but I've seen the images and it sure seems like a far, distant memory from the cattle calls, limited leg room and social experimentation we seem to endure on flights of today.
Cue to yesterday when a Breeze Airways flight en route from Norfolk, Virginia to Los Angeles International Airport was diverted to land in Grand Junction after an intoxicated man wreaked havoc on the flight crew and fellow passengers.

According to reports from Fox 31 in Denver, the man was agitated and yelling racist slurs at the flight crew while waving - of all things - a skateboard around in the air. The man was corralled and restrained twice, but managed to free himself each time.

When the plane ultimately diverted and landed in Grand Junction, the man had a surprise waiting for him on the ground: The Grand Junction Police Department, sent there by the FBI. News crews captured the moments he was taken off the plane and driven away by authorities.
He has since been taken to a detention facility where he will likely face charges by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the State of Colorado, while the rest of the passengers and crew ultimately made the rest of their trip to Los Angeles.
