Dunkin Donuts has just started to burst onto the Northern Colorado coffee scene in the past three years. But if you got hooked to this drink, the end is near.

According to CNBC, the popular Coffee Coolatta drink will be phased off the menu over the next few months and it's replacement will be a frozen coffee. The article states that the new drink will have more of a coffee flavor than the coolatta.

The national donut and coffee chain will still offer the fruit flavored coolatta after the original moves away completely.

What's the difference with the new frozen coffee drink? It will be made with coffee extract, ice, liquid cane sugar, and a dairy product. Customers will have the option of getting whole dairy or skim.

What were people's thoughts on Instagram after news broke on Wednesday?

Dunkin Donuts has locations in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Windsor.
