Three North Denver Schools on Lockout Due to Gunman in Area

A middle school and two elementary schools are on lockdown this morning (April 15, 2019), due to a barricaded gunman in the area of the schools.

Three schools in Westminister have been put into 'Lockout' mode. A 'lockout' means that no one comes in or goes out of the schools.

9News is reporting heavy police presence in the area of the schools, as a gunman has barricaded himself in a residence near Lowell and 88th.
