I know we are all in an existential panic about the Coronavirus, but these four upcoming weekend events in Northern Colorado are dapper ways to take your mind off of the sickly, spreading bug (but be sure to bring your hand sanitizer, obviously).

Here are Northern Colorado events from March 13-15.

Occurring at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 in Downtown Fort Collins, you are invited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early this year. Spend your day listening to free live music, peruse a “green beer garden” and enjoy a family-friendly Shamrock Festival on the south side of the Square. There will be circus stunt performers, face painters, DIY Irish crafts, temporary tattoo opportunities and more. The High Road Home, Kerry Pastine & The Crime Scene and Guerilla Fanfare are the scheduled free live music lineup.

The City of Greeley is putting on the  9th Annual Blarney on the Block St. Patrick’s Day celebration on the 9th St. Plaza in Greeley. The parade for the event is free to attend. You can also enjoy a Saint Paddy's Pub Crawl. Hosted by Greeley’s hottest locations such as The Box, The Jager, Bear’s Country Saloon and Gentry’s, the Saint Paddy’s Pub Crawl is an event worth risking the coronavirus. A ticket to this festive event includes free green beer at four different bars, live music and dancing. You are also invited to participate in Greeley’s famous “Go-Cup” service on 9th Street at 2 p.m. where age appropriate attendees can purchase an adult beverage at participating establishments. Wear your green, and buy your tickets online here.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Nirvanic Tattoo and Josaline Green Tattoo are offering a discounted $13+ tattoos for Friday the 13th. This ink-friendly event is walk-in only in Loveland. Come get tatted and leave with a new piece of custom art to show off this green weekend.

Hosted by the City of Fort Collins Recreator, this kid-friendly party invites children of all ages to dress up with their parents and “play superheroes.” This event is from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 14. There will be a photo booth, arch enemy knock downs, kryptonite carry, cape making, superhero obstacle course, superhero tattoo station and a silly string superhero aim game. You can register online, in person or by calling 970-221-6655.
