As 2020 — a year that the venue had to pause its concert season, and was almost lost to the Cameron Peak Fire — comes to an end, the Mish shared a glimpse of its early days in the canyon.

We know it as a great place to see an outdoor concert in the summer, whether it be Cold War Kids, Phantogram, The Head and the Heart or your favorite local band, but the property dates back to the late 1910s, when motorcyclist/musician Walter S. Thompson built the Mishawaka Dance Hall at Thompson's Resort in the Poudre Canyon.

The venue and outdoor stage have changed a lot over the last 100 years, and withstood the test of time and natural disasters.

But the Mish says, 'And like the river, the music flows on.' Here's to a better 2021, with more music.
