The Vow Heartfelt, Enjoyable

When my wife recently went with me to see Star Wars, Episode I: the Phantom Menace in 3D, I realized a few things. First, Jar Jar Binks is still very annoying. Second, that's a pretty great thing for a wife who isn't into space fantasy to do. I was ready to go alone, but she said she'd come. So, I figured I should repay the favor and go with her to a movie that she wants to see. So, I asked her to see the Vow. We saw it last night at Metrolux 14 Theatres.

Very good movie! It requires a good actress to pull off the amnesiac role, and Rachel McAdams was great. Channing Tatum is totally dreamy, even more so as the devoted husband. Tears were shed. Laughter enjoyed. Thumbs up.
