The Foundry’s Hotel Plans Take Shape in Downtown Loveland
It will be on the south end of what was initially called the South Catalyst Project. A major hotel chain is coming to The Foundry and will be the first hotel in Downtown Loveland in decades.
Downtown Loveland's $75M development project, 'The Foundry' recently announced what hotel chain will be taking the south end. It will be a TownePlace Suites hotel by Marriott.
Scheduled to open in the spring of 2019, this will be only the fifth location of a TownePlace Suites in all of Colorado (there are four others, all south of I-70.) It will have 102 rooms (suites) that are all way nicer than my apartment that resides about three blocks away from The Foundry.
It will have an indoor pool, a fitness center and a lounge- just to name a few of the amenities. This will be a great addition to The Foundry, giving lodging to not only business travelers but to tourists as well. Loveland has a lot of hotels at the interstate, but not one downtown, currently.
The announcement of TownePlace Suites, is the very first business to be officially announced as going into The Foundry, which will have apartments, a large community plaza, a movie theater and 15,000 sq ft or commercial space.
