The Fort Collins Outback Steakhouse Has Closed
Lovers of pumpernickel bread and Bloomin' Onions might have to travel to the actual outback to get their fix (or at least out of Fort Collins), because Outback Steakhouse has closed its location in the Choice City.
According to The Coloradoan, the company decided to say goodbye to its Fort Collins location because the restaurant was underperforming.
"While closing a restaurant is always a difficult choice, we are grateful for the many years we have been able to serve the Ft. Collins community," Out West Restaurant Group CEO David Goronkin told the publication. "We have many other Outback locations in Colorado and look forward to continuing to serve our guests at these locations for years to come."
One of the other Colorado locations in Longmont has also shut its doors. However, Goronkin said that no more closures are currently planned for the Centennial State.
If you're really craving some Shrimp on the Barbie, you can travel to the nearest Outback Steakhouse at 497 E 120th Avenue in Thornton.
