There is a new sheriff in town. A new leader of the Colorado State University football team. That leader has not only completely turned the atmosphere around the CSU football team, but he's also helping to change the attitude and the perception of the program both on and off the field.

She also added, “My family is very athletic, and we’re always watching football and getting involved in sports in whatever way we can…Coaching club volleyball was the most fun thing, and that kind of got the wheels turning, like, ‘Wow, I like to coach; I like to be involved and develop athletes.'”

In addition to that experience in coaching volleyball, Nepstad became an intern for the strength and conditioning staff back in Nevada where assistant coach Jordan Simmons, now also with Colorado State, was so impressed with her skillset, became a staff member for the Wolfpack football program.

When Coach Norvell was hired at CSU, he brought several members of his previous staff with him and Hope Norvell is just one of those individuals.

The CSU Rams take the field for the first time in September with a huge test as they travel to Ann Arbor to take on the perennial Big 10 powerhouse and a team that played in the College Football Playoffs last year, the Michigan Wolverines.
