The Doughnut Club in Fort Collins is reopening on Friday (June 5). But this store didn't close because of COVID-19.

According to The Coloradoan, the shop shut down eight months ago when its sister company, The Dough Bar of "Shark Tank" fame, filed for bankruptcy.

But after a period of reinvention, which included adding monkey bread and cinnamon rolls to the menu, the store's owners told the publication that they are ready to serve the public again.

They're also treating the first 50 customers to stop by their shop, located at 501 Riverside Avenue, with a free doughnut...if you buy something else, too.

Sounds like a great opportunity to satisfy your sweet tooth and support a local business.
