The Beach Boys Play Denver’s Paramount Theater: December 30, 2016
The Beach Boys have done more shows than any other major rock band in history, and they’re not stopping yet! The guys are out on tour, and they’ll be surfing to one of Denver's legendary venues this December!
The Beach Boys are without a doubt, a true American treasure. They’ve sold over 100 million records around the world, have had over 33 Platinum and Gold records, and are members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their music just makes you feel young and innocent- ‘Fun, Fun, Fun’, ‘Barbara Ann’, ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice?’, ‘Good Vibrations’, ‘Kokomo’, the list goes on and on! They are out on their '50 Years of Good Vibrations' tour and are coming to the Mile High City!
Get ready for a night to look back and have fun seeing the Beach Boys at Denver's legendary Paramount Theater on December 30, 2016. Did you know the Paramount was built by THE Temple Buell? As in the Temple Buelll Theater! Buell's Paramount blew the competition out of the way when it opened in 1930. To this day, the Paramount still contains one of only TWO Wurlitzer twin-console organs; the other residing in New York City's Radio City Music Hall! Sitting just off the 16th Street Mall, the Paramount was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, and Denver made it a Historic Landmark in 1988.
So, it seems only fitting that one of America's treasures would perform at one of Denver's treasures!
The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who along with Jeffrey Foskett, Brian Eichenburger, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill and Scott Totten continue the legacy of the iconic American band. This concert will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine or David Marks.
