The 4 Coldest Valentine’s Days in Loveland Since 2004

Loveland, "The Sweetheart City" is the city known for celebrating all things love on Valentine's Day, here are the days we also celebrated 'layers.'

On the bright side, when it's cold outside and you have a "Valentine" in your life, you can always snuggle up to them to keep warm. Otherwise, you celebrate the collection of sweaters and blankets that you've collected over the years.

Overall, looking back 25 years, there's not a lot of "shockingly cold: high temperatures for Valentine's Day in Loveland; mostly, you see the seasonal temperatures of the mid-50's. However, there have been four ''I'm moving to Florida" cold ones.

VALENTINE'S DAY 2007 SAW A HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 15°

With a high temperature of 15°, you have to believe that day started out in the single digits. Those who were single that year, were probably reaching for an extra blanket.  2007's high ranks as the 3rd Coldest Valentine's Day in Loveland since 2004.

VALENTINE'S DAY 2021 SAW A HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 3°

I remember that cold snap. My car remembers that cold snap. A HIGH of 3°? Any dates that happened that night were most-likely bundled up to the neck area. 2021's high ranks as the 2nd Coldest Valentine's Day in Loveland since 2004.

VALENTINE'S DAY 2004 SAW A HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 0°

It was probably mid-afternoon that Valentine's Day that the thermometer read above the "below zero" territory. "Honey, I love you, but let's stay in and double up on electric blankets, OK?"  Valentine's Day of 2004 will take the trophy for being the Coldest Valentine's Day in Loveland since 2004. Brrrrr.
