The 25 Reasons Why I’ve Fallen In Love With Colorado
As I approach my one year anniversary of living in Colorado (wow, time flies) I've found myself looking back on my first year and all of the things that have gone into my love for this state.
It hasn't been all sunshine and roses: no move is ever that way and no place is ever that way, but I'm here to say that if we had to uproot Washington State (a place that we loved, especially my wife and son) there is no other place we could've or WOULD'VE wanted to do it for than here in Colorado.
I had the fortunate opportunity to have been able to spend a decent amount of time here prior to our move with several different trips and visits, so I knew what I was getting into but didn't TRULY appreciate things until I've had a chance to experience some quality extended time here, and the reviews are really good.
Don't get me wrong, we still love the Pacific Northwest, but the things and people that we've encountered and met here have made our move so much easier and enjoyable. I'd like to point out some of those things out as I approach my 1 year anniversary here in Colorado.
There are 25 things that I've come up with so far, however, I know there are more and I'm pretty sure there will be a bunch more that I'll be able to talk (and write) about next year, too. So for NOW... here we go, the reasons why I've fallen in love with the great state of Colorado, in no particular order...
