The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission continues the free History Brown Bag Series held on the 4th Thursday of each month through October, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., at the Greeley History Museum, 714 8th Street. The Hewlett Fire northwest of Fort Collins has grown to approach Greeley’s Milton Seaman Reservoir. The Forest Service has evacuated city buildings, including the home of the reservoir caretakers there. The Milton Seaman Reservoir provides water for the City of Greeley and there is potential for the water supply to be affected.

Greeley Mayor, Tom Norton is encouraging Greeley residents to conserve water, save energy and reduce pollution during the month of April. In returen, residents can win a new Toyota Prius, water saving fixtures and other prizes.
