Sure, the weather's getting warmer - but ski season hasn't completely come to an end.

Ski masks really have a whole new purpose now.

This year, we didn't make it past opening day without someone taking a plunge from their ski lift chair, but this time all the way to the ground, about 19 feet below.

Some might say that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day, but for skiers and snowboarders in Colorado, this October's is actually going to be a good one. That's because it was just announced that Arapahoe Basin will officially be opening for the season at the end of the week, courtesy of good ol' Mother Nature.

A skier who was rescued after his backpack got tangled in the chairlift at Arapahoe Basin on January 4th, along with his rescuer will share their story on Ellen.
