SUV vs. RV at Hwy 34 Near Promenade Shops Sends Eight to the Hospital Friday Afternoon

Just before 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, (7/72017) two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 34 and Thompson Parkway near the entrance to the Promenade Shops at Centerra. It appeared to involve and RV and an SUV.

Eight people were taken to the hospital. It's unclear which persons came from which vehicle. We hope everyone is OK, including what appears to be one victim's dog!

Westbound 34 was closed for cleanup/investigation as of 4:00 Friday afternoon.
