Interesting places in Fort Collins for a bite to eat or just relax will increase with a new endeavor from a food truck operator in town.

What Food Truck is Opening a Lounge/Cafe in Fort Collins

Just the name of the food truck can make you hungry, as it's called The Munchie Machine. More of a catering operation than a food truck you'd see at a local food truck rally, but just the same, they've been feeding a lot of locals.

Running any small business takes a lot of courage and hard work. That's why it's sad when you hear about a place giving it a shot and just not making it. That's the story for what was Story of My Life Tattoo Removal in Downtown Fort Collins. They lasted for a couple of years, but didn't make it through the pandemic.

Funky Lounge/Cafe to Take Over Tattoo Removal Shop in Fort Collins

If you love coffee, live music and baked potatoes, Spuds is your place. They say they're "Coffee, culture & carbs," and it sounds, to me, like a hip little place that will fit right in with Cheba Hut right across the street from them, just east of College on Laurel.

Spuds Lounge and Cafe falls into the "third place" category of establishments, a place outside of home or work where you can just hang out with people sharing similar interests. Interests like, a tasty baked potato.
