Subway Gave Out Free Sandwiches to TSA Agents at DIA
Subway Sandwiches was concerned about the TSA workers at DIA having to work during the government shutdown, so they popped for 100s of lunches!
On January 27, 2019, to help out the unpaid TSA workers affected by the government shutdown, Boots 66, (a Colorado non-profit dedicated to preserving the memory of Colorado's fallen heroes who were lost as a result of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan), helped Subway provide 300 free 6-inch sandwiches to offset the fact that those workers were not getting paid.
Boots 66 was at DIA throughout the shutdown and helped to provide over 1,000 meals to TSA workers.
