Sting’s 9-Stop U.S. 2023 Tour Brings Legendary Performer to Red Rocks
The man whose legacy is more than just the frontman for the Police, Sting, is heading out a a big tour for 2023; one of the dates is a big night at Colorado's own, Red Rocks.
He is a Commander in the British Empire (CBE,) an actor, songwriter, musician and overall well-respected icon. Sting will be strapping on his bass and playing some of the best known songs he's been a part of, and we can be a part of that show.
The summer of 2023 will be almost over when Mr. Sumner makes yet another appearance at Colorado's favorite venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Did you catch Sting when he was a "suspect" in 'Only Murders in the Building?'
Who knows how many songs Sting will be performing when he hits the stage at Red Rocks, he has so many to choose from. in the promotional video for the tour, it looks like we can count on "Every Breath You Take," and "Roxanne." That's good; it'd be crazy mean of him not to do those songs.
According to Setlist.fm, Sting's last appearance at Red Rocks was 10 years ago, in the summer of 2013, on his "Back to Bass" tour. That list of songs was very heavy on Police tunes. Looking at stops he's already done for this new, "My Songs" tour, fans will not be let down by his setlist.
