Small Town Colorado: Crawford
Everyone knows about the "big cities" in Colorado, but what about the small towns? They need love too. That's why we're going to feature small towns scattered around our beautiful state. This week, we're going to take a look at Crawford, Colorado.
Crawford is a small town located on Colorado's western slope. Founded in 1882 by George A. Crawford, the small town has been home to a post office since 1883.
Home to just over 400 people, what the tiny town lacks in population, it makes up for it with breathtaking views and a couple of celebrities. Classic rocker Joe Cocker made his home on Mad Dog Ranch, where he passed away in 2014. We can't forget Jeneve Rose Mitchell who was a contestant on the final season of American Idol.
