Real-Life Mario Kart Racing Coming to Colorado

Costume Go-Karting is bringing its real-life Mario Kart Mushroom Rally back to Denver this spring.

Now you can race against your favorite Mario Kart characters, collect stars and win prizes.

This unique experience will take you into your favorite racing game to compete for the chance to win a trip to Miami for the championship. You must be over 21 to win the trip, however, if you are under 21 and get the fastest lap time you will get a cash prize of $500 instead of the trip.

Costume Go-Karting will host 16 races in 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada to narrow down the field for the Miami finals.

The website Do303 says these are the ways you grab one of the top spots:

1. Having the fastest lap time in your city (Adult racers only)

 

2. Collecting the most stars in your city (Top 3 in the country will go to Miami!)

 

3. A lottery - Every person that purchases a ticket to the event , will be entered into a lottery. The winner will be announced through Facebook live - so as long as you have purchased a ticket you have the chance to win!
