Lace up those tennis shoes and take advantage of the summer weather by participating in one of the many 5K and marathon races happening around Northern Colorado during the next few months.

There are tons of fun racing opportunities to be a part of this summer – whether you prefer to run alone, aiming to set a new personal record at each race, or would rather participate with friends or family and cross the finish line together, there is something for everyone. There are even some themed runs coming to Colorado, and races that feature additional fun for participants such as beer Olympics, obstacles and games – all complete with prizes for top finishers, of course!

We've compiled a list of upcoming 5K races and marathons that will be taking place around the Northern Colorado area. These races are local, but should you choose to expand your racing endeavors, there are many others that will be happening throughout Denver and the surrounding areas as well. Feel free to share any other races with us that we may have missed.
