Prom-Bound Seniors Stop Limo to Save Car Crash Victims
A group of teens had a legendary prom night, for a rather unusual reason. They didn't set a new high school keg stand record -- they stopped on the way to the dance to rescue some people who were in a car accident.
The group of 20 students, dressed in gowns and tuxedos, were riding down Interstate 595 to their prom in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, when the van in front of them hit a wall and flipped. The driver of their (apparently enormous) limo, Danny Izzi, pulled over. When the teens looked out the window and discovered why they were stopped, they hopped out and managed to pull seven people from the van -- five adults, a nine-year-old and a two-year-old.
They did all of this, nobody was seriously injured, AND they managed to show up to prom only 15 minutes late. That's an amount of good news you usually don't get from one story ... especially from Florida.
