President Trump in Colorado Today for Air Force Commencement
Donald Trump will visit Colorado for the first time since his election Thursday. The Gazette is reporting that he will deliver the commencement address at the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation in Colorado Springs.
The last time a sitting president gave the commencement address, Barack Obama spoke to the Air Force Academy graduates in 2016. Vice President Mike Pence appeared Memorial Day weekend and spoke to the U.S. Military Academy graduates at West Point.
A group of progressive, anti-war protesters showed up outside Colorado Springs City Hall Wednesday ahead of Trump's visit. All twelve of them holding signs and yelling about military intervention in Iran.
Air Force One is scheduled to land at Peterson Air Force at 9:30 A.M. MTN
