It's amazing what can happen when you Google 'Gratitude'. A definition here, sales pitch there, and then...this film by Louie Schwartzberg. I'd never heard of him or his film entitled 'Gratitude' before this, and now I am a big fan. This is from a TED talk he gave where he introduces himself and then shows his film. In it are the true sentiments of what I hope to find on a daily basis.

You think this is just another day in your life? It's not just another day, it's the one day that is given to you...it's a gift. It's the only gift that you have right now, and the only appropriate response is gratefulness.
