When Ferris Buehler's Day Off was released in 1986, my parents and teachers probably thought it would have a negative affect on the youth of the day. I have to admit, the movie had more of an impact on my philosophy of life than your average Hollywood comedy probably should. I agreed with the film's signature line, and to tell the honest to goodness truth, I still do.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So true.
