Occupy Fort Collins Protesters Move North to Occupy Creekside Park
Occupy Fort Collins protesters marched north along College Avenue to a new site on Tuesday. The local activists had previously occupied the corner of College and Jefferson/Maple streets in Old Town since October 10, 2011.
About 20 protesters marched two miles south from the original occupation site at Jefferson/Maple and College to the three-acre Creekside Park at 1817 S. College Ave.
They say the new location offers good visibility while also providing space to set up warming tents and information booths.

Fort Collins officials had been suggesting the group move to another site that would make on-site cooking and shelter more accessible. Camping in the park, would still be illegal.
