Downtown Loveland’s ‘Where Art and Science Meet’ Mural
In September of 2012, Loveland installed a new mural in downtown Loveland- 'Where Art and Science Meet.'
What used to be a big blank wall, now captures what that building is all about, as well as what Loveland is about!
There is art all over Loveland. From the Chapungu Sculpture Garden on the east side of town to the big Adirondack chair on the west side of town. Of course, there's art in Downtown Loveland as well.
Venture downtown, and and you will notice two murals. One, on 5th just east of Cleveland, done by Sheldon James. Sheldon also helped to create the mural at 4th and Railroad. It's on the west wall of Aims Community College Loveland Campus and was designed by Aims student Stephanie Ruelas. After two weeks, with the guidance of Sheldon James and even the help of some kids, the project was completed.
If you look closely, you'll see 'code' running vertically along the mural- the science within the art!
