Noco’s Best Sandwich: Cheba Hut Toasted Subs
Here were the finalists for NoCo's Best Sandwich:
Finalist: B&B Pickle Barrel
The judges enjoyed the Christy Special: Grilled havarti, sauteed mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, vinaigrette. The sandwich melts in your mouth, and you can't forget those amazingly zingy pickles. B&B Pickle Barrel definitely deserved a top spot as a finalist for best sandwich.
Finalist: Choice City Butcher and Deli
Next up was Choice City Butcher & Deli. On the backside of the Armstrong Hotel, Choice City has that Old Town FoCo feel, and a very unique feature in their shop. When you walk toward the back of the shop there is a hallway where each wall is covered, top to bottom, with bar tabs; each one is unique to the next. The judges enjoyed the thick cut/lean corned beef on the Choice City Rueben. The friendly staff made the experience enjoyable.
Finalist: Cheba Hut Toasted Subs
Cheba Hut Toasted Subs has one of the most welcoming atmospheres our judges have experienced. The staff was helpful and friendly, the unique sandwich options that Cheba Hut offers and the aesthetic of the restaurant all came together so perfectly. The sandwich the judges tasted was the White Widow: Grilled chicken breast smothered in our signature ranch dressing, topped with 'shrooms, bacon & provolone.
