The "Greatest Show On Earth" is set to return all over the world later this year, including two different stops in Colorado. Here's all we know about the new Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus extravaganza.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Returns

Most, if not all, had been to a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's Circus at some point in their life. I remember going to my first circus at the old Denver Coliseum as a kid, it was magical. In fact, I think I still have my old elephant snowcone cup. No idea why... When I had kids of my own I was so excited to take them to that same spot to watch their first Circus, and as far as Circus' went, there were none better than Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. The "Greatest Show on Earth" was their motto and they lived up to that name every single time they rolled through Colorado.

As the years rolled on, the protesters and animal rights groups that stood outside of the events grew larger and were far more aggressive in their approach, so Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey finally had to make a decision that would change their futures forever. After attempting to run their shows without their famous elephant performers, the show closed up shop in 2017. But now in 2023, this one-time "Greatest Show" is making its triumphant return, and yes, it's coming back to Colorado.

An all-new show, this time without the animals, is making its grand debut later in 2023, and as seen above will make stops in both Denver and Colorado Springs. Dates aren't posted on their official schedule just yet, but they will likely be in the later part of 2024 based on the dates that are already released. After watching the sneak peek below though, we can't wait to see it live.

Will it be different without the animals? Absolutely, but Cirque has shown that you don't need animals to put on an incredible show. Clowns to make you laugh and amazing live talent to make you jump out of your seat. Get, because the "Greatest Show on Earth" is back, baby.
