Memories of Monopoly for me include, a lot of yelling, sliding an extra $500 into my stack and the feeling of elation when getting both Boardwalk and Park Place. It looks like Hasbro is modernizing the classic board game. The new Ms. Monopoly version, is paying homage to the gender pay gap and honoring the contributions that women have made. Instead of buying property players invest in inventions made by women including bullet proof vests and solar heating.

With the release of the game Hasbro found three amazing teenage women to help them with their inventions. One of those young women is 13-year-old Gitanjali Rao, of Denver. She is working on an invention to help detect lead in drinking water.
