It's tough to find undeveloped space in Fort Collins unless you drive south on College Avenue. But soon, the open spaces and foothills views will be store fronts and housing.

According to the Coloradoan, a low-income housing project with 180 units is under construction and five housing projects have been proposed for South College between Harmony and Trilby, including a new mobile home park. There are also two restaurants, two convenience stores, a bank, a car wash and a day care center planning to take advantage of the open commercial space.
