New Colorado Law Limits Insulin Co-Pays to $100
Those with diabetes rejoiced on Wednesday, as Governor Polis signed a bill into law that basically says, 'enough of this.'
We now live in the very first state in the Nation to put a cap on how much people will shell out as their co-pay for insulin (any kind of insulin) to just $100 after the Governor signed HB19-1216 into law on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
According to Denver 7 and the Associated Press, the bill was co-sponsored by state representative Dylan Roberts, whose brother died from diabetes.
