New Brewery Coming to Fort Collins in 2020

Ready for more craft beer (because we can never have enough)? Well, 2020 is going to be our year.

There's a new brewery coming to Fort Collins next summer: Stodgy Brewing Co., which will turn three lots on Laporte Avenue into a taproom, offices, and a 23-space parking lot, according to a press release.

The co-owner Tyler Olpin is looking to create a neighborhood pub for Northwest Fort Collins which, unlike downtown Fort Collins, doesn't have as many entertainment options.

The brewery sounds like it's going to be pretty impressive: they're planning a 10-barrel brewing system with six core beers and six rotating experimental brews. They're also going to have a patio designed by a horticulturist that will hold over 100 people.

Get ready for Stodgy Brewing Co., which is slated to open August 1, 2020. I, for one, can't wait.
