NB I-25 On-Ramp at Highway 392 Closed This Weekend

In the end, having the on-ramp closed for an entire weekend will be the lesser of two evils, as the I-25 North Express Lanes project rolls on.

The WHOLE weekend? Yes. Starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019, until Monday morning, May 6 at 5.a.m, the northbound I-25 on-ramp off of Highway 392 will be closed.

According to the Reporter-Herald, The Colorado Department of Transportation needs to replace that on-ramp to fit in with the new north express lanes going in from Johnstown to Fort Collins.  The other option, instead of a whole weekend shutdown, would be to close it down 20 different times. THAT would be a hassle, no question. So, this is the better way to go.

They suggest taking County Road 5 north to Harmony and getting on I-25 from there.
