Mudslide in High Park Fire Burn Area Blocks Highway 14
The burning may have stopped, but we're still feeling the effects of the devastating High Park Fire.
A mudslide in the fire's burn area has blocked off Highway 14, West of Fort Collins.
There have not been any evacuation ordered, and no injuries have been reported.
The Colorado Department of Transportation is responding to clear the road while county road and bridge workers respond to a second, 100 foot mudslide on Buckhorn Road west of Stove Prarie Road, according to Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
