McDonald’s Offering Free Breakfast to All Colorado K-8 Students
Studies have shown a strong link between a wholesome breakfast and better performance in school, and as community members and parents themselves, McDonald's owners understand the importance of starting the school day off right with a nutritious breakfast.
Many children do not have breakfast before school, but on Wednesday, September 9, all Colorado Kindergarten through 8th graders will get a free breakfast from participating McDonald's locations in Colorado.
With a parent/guardian, K-8 kids will get a protein-packed breakfast of 1 of these 4 meal combinations:
- Egg McMuffin, Apple Slices, and 1% milk jug: 420 calories, 15g fat, 25g protein, 4g dietary fiber, and 0g trans fat.
- Egg McMuffin, Apple Slices, and small Minute Maid orange juice: 460 calories, 13g fat, 20g protein, 4g dietary fiber, and 0g trans fat.
- Egg White Delight McMuffin, Apple Slices, and 1% milk jug: 370 calories, 10g fat, 26g protein, 4g dietary fiber, and 0g trans fat.
- Egg White Delight McMuffin, Apple Slices, and small Minute Maid orange juice: 420 calories, 8g fat, 20g protein, 4g dietary fiber, and 0g trans fat.
Free breakfast at McDonald's for Kindergarten through 8th graders is available Wednesday, September 9, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. at participating locations throughout the state of Colorado.
Students must be present and accompanied by a parent/guardian. The offer does not include group redemption or substitutions, and is available while supplies last.
